Network Continuity & Redundancy
Momentum Telecom can connect into your network through a variety of options including: Broadband, T-1 circuits or an MPLS network – Bring Your Own Bandwidth or Momentum-provided access. Our dedicated team of Sales Engineers will work with you to utilize your current network before expanding to other options. Momentum’s custom deployments can run from a simple Direct Internet Access (DIA) install, all the way up to creating a hybrid cloud that ensures that your network never hits the “public” internet.
Inside the Data Center
Our Class 5 BroadSoft® cloud-based platform with advanced PBX functionality is designed with a high level of reliability, approaching 99.9999%. Every component in the data center has active redundancy in a high availability configuration with session border clustering for industry-leading performance and capacity.
PSTN / Carrier Redundancy
We have multiple paths to the PSTN network including multiple carriers and multiple gateway interconnection points for the highest reliability. Momentum Telecom originates and terminates “off-network” calls with Tier-1 providers around the world.
Momentum Telecom will work with your network team to upgrade and help manage the voice layer of your network to maximize call quality. Momentum utilizes best practices including: separation of SIP and RTP, voice VLAN networking, and WAN Link redundancy to ensure the highest quality of service and best possible customer experience.

Gateway Built Down to Customer
Momentum Telecom’s recommended voice appliance (EdgeMarc) does inbound/outbound QoS (Quality of Service) as it sits in front of the customer’s data network. It manages registration to multiple Momentum data centers and can act as a primary firewall or use a proxy ARP/bridge mode so that voice/data can converge on the same circuit without issues.
