Time Schedules are necessary to utilize many of the time sensitive features of your Momentum Hosted Voice service, such as Call Forwarding Selective, Selective Rejection, Selective Acceptance and Priority, and Auto Attendant.

Multiple time schedules can be created in order to enhance these features. For instance, different schedules can be created and applied to your Auto Attendant in order to control when the day, night or specific holiday greetings play.

Here's How!

To set your holiday hours schedule browse and log in to your My Cloud Services portal.

Create Your Schedule

  1. Click on Enterprise Settings on the left menu

  2. Click the ► on Time Schedules

  3. Click on Add under Holiday Schedules to create a new time schedule

  4. Enter the name of the schedule in the Schedule Name field. We’ll use 4th of July for this example

Modify Your Schedule

  1. Click Add Event and enter 7/4/20019 as the event name

  2. Now we’ll enter the beginning and end date/time for the event. Since the 4th holiday is only one day, it will start and begin on the same day. Set the Start Date and End Date as 7/4/2019

  3. Assuming your business will be closed the entire observed holiday, make sure All Day Event is selected

Apply Your Schedule to a Group Service

Here we will apply the 4th of July Holiday Schedule to a select location’s Auto Attendant

  1. Click on Locations in the left navigation menu

  2. On the location you wish to apply the Holiday Schedule, click the Edit icon

  3. This will display Group Settings. Click the ► button on Auto Attendant to edit

  4. Click Edit on the Auto Attendant profile

  5. For Holiday Schedule, click the drop down menu and select the schedule you created in the previous steps

  6. Click Save

Creating a Schedule

  1. Click on Profile on the left under the group level.
  2. Click on Schedules.
  3. Click on Add to create a new time schedule.

  4. Enter the name of the schedule in the Schedule Name field (we’ll use Independence Day for this). Select Holiday as the Schedule Type, click OK.

Modifying Your New Schedule

Now that you’ve created a schedule, you’ll have to specify the dates and times it should reflect.

  1. Click into the schedule you just created, you will see the Event Add screen.

  2. Enter the Event Name as 4th of July
  3. Since the holiday is only one day, it will start and begin on the same day. Set the Start Date and End Date as 7/3/2015.
  4. Assuming your business will be closed the entire observed holiday, make sure All Day Event is selected, click OK.

Applying Your Schedule to a Group Service

Once the schedule is created and the events are added, you can apply the Schedule to the appropriate service, such as Auto Attendant.

Applying your new holiday schedule will alert the Auto Attendant that your business will be closed for the specified time period and react accordingly.

  1. Go into your auto attendant and click on Profile
  2. For Holiday schedule, click the drop down menu and select the schedule you created in the previous steps, Independence Day.

Premium Attendant

  1. You can reset the password for your admin line here: https://portal.cloudnetgroup.com/

  2. Premium Attendants can use select which menu to use during Special Days. You could make particular menus for individual holidays if desired.

  3. Once logged into the Admin CommPortal you can access the Attendants

  4. A list of your Attendant(s) will be present, click “Actions” on the attendant in which you wish to modify.

  5. Then select “View attendant settings”.

  6. Next, click “Open in New Window” for a better interface.

  7. Then select Schedule tab(1) and you’ll be able to select which menu(2) to use during Special Days.

Easy Attendant

  1. You can access the auto-attendant settings from CommPortal Admin: https://portal.cloudnetgroup.com/bg

  2. Once logged into the Admin CommPortal you can access the Attendants

  3. A list of your Attendant(s) will be present, click “Actions” on the attendant in which you wish to modify.

  4. Then select “View attendant settings”.

  5. Next, click “Open in New Window” for a better interface.

  6. Then select “Schedule” tab(1) and then Special Days calendar(2)

  7. This window is now prompt for you to select the days to enable Special Days:

  1. Upon selecting the Schedule option from the Telephony Setup page, you will be routed to the following page.

  2. The default view on this page will show the schedules that have been set up at a Group Level. You will have the ability to switch over to see all schedules for the entire Enterprise by using the toggle in the upper left-hand corner.

    NOTE: If schedules were created during your initial implementation by your project manager, they will be shown under the Time or Holiday Schedules. If you are setting up a schedule for the first time, your screen will look the same as the one above.

     

  3. To create a new schedule for your organization, click on the “Options” icon in the bottom right hand corner of the page and select “Add Schedule”.

  4. Upon selecting the Add Schedule option, you will be able to create a new schedule.

  5. The general settings for creating a new schedule are as follows:

    1. Name – Choose a name that will be easily identifiable so you can reference it on other screens.

    2. Level – Decide whether this schedule will be available at an Enterprise or Group level.

    3. Type – Will this be a Business Hour, After Hour or Holiday schedule?

    4. Details – This will be where you indicate which days are included in the schedule.

  6. You will have the option to enter as many holidays as your organization observes, while determining whether the holiday will last all day OR over the course of several days, based on the holiday. The holiday schedule will supersede your existing business and after-hours schedules during those specific periods of time.
