Portuguese BBX Platform enables more rapid growth and efficient support  of data services for Brazilian broadband providers

ATLANTA – October 18, 2012 – IBBS, a leading provider of cloud-based voice and data services for broadband providers in the United States, the Caribbean and Latin America, today announced that it has released a Portuguese language version of its premier BBX data provisioning and diagnostics platform to enhance services for Brazilian broadband providers.

“We’ve been supporting broadband providers in Brazil for over two years now, and have achieved tremendous success with our existing version of BBX,” said Carlos Bustamante, director of customer program management at IBBS. “Of the over 1.3 million cable modems currently supported by BBX worldwide, more than 140,000 modems are located in the Brazil market. We are confident that the Portuguese version will make operations more efficient so Brazilian providers can focus on the continued growth of their businesses.”
