Anthony Orlando is widely recognized as a VoIP pioneer. In his own words, he has lived, breathed and slept Voice over IP for more than 12 years as one of the original technical experts in the field.

In fact, he’s so committed to VoIP that his license plate boasts the title DR VOIP.

As Vice President of Operations and Engineering, Anthony is responsible for research and development, service quality, Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, quality analytics, the Network Operations Center (NOC) and managing Momentum’s core telecommunications network.

His experience as a technical engineer has made Anthony a valuable asset to the Momentum team. During the three years Anthony has been with the company, he has made network availability a top priority and is proud that Momentum’s network has had zero outages.

“Network availability has been my main focus,” said Anthony. “Our network is now geo-redundant and maintains 100% uptime because our switches are strategically located in the east and the west.”

Anthony is also proud of the sheer number of projects he and his team are able accomplish on a day-to-day basis. He explains that their hard work and collaboration continues to make Momentum’s VoIP the best in the industry.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids and loves to hunt and fish.
