The demand for unified communications is increasing in all regions, according to recently released data from Infonetics Research, which states demand for those tools are up both quarter-to-quarter and year-to-year. In the industry, revenue has jumped up 21 percent from 2012’s first quarter.

“Demand for unified communications is increasing in all regions as businesses seek tools to help them boost employee productivity and flexibility,” explains Diane Myers of Infonetics.

Why are companies increasingly adopting unified communications technology? The answer’s quite simple: Unified communications give employees the freedom and flexibility they need to succeed in today’s business world while at the same time equipping them with the tools to remain constantly connected.

Today, business isn’t done solely in the office as it has been in the past. Conversely, clients and employees are always on the move, meeting up at various locations to get business done. If someone on your team has a question for another team member who is out in the field, the two can remain in contact as soon as they glance at the device through which their communication tools are connected. This way, employees can communicate in real time even though they’re spread far apart, providing your business with an even longer physical wingspan, while allowing it to remain virtually close-knit.

Momentum Telecom’s unified communications suite includes instant messaging, video conferencing, call control, click-to-dial, softphone, voicemail and presence features, enabling your team to collaborate seamlessly from wherever they happen to be working from. The platform works across multiple platforms and multiple devices, increasing your team’s efficiency and availability. To learn more about the company’s solution, click here.
