“Momentum’s services offer the latest and greatest in hosted communications backed by huge savings, excellent support and a reliable network. It is a solution that I am proud to advocate in the community.”
– Elizabeth Pharo, Chair of Momentum’s Board of Directors

As a bright entrepreneur and seasoned executive, Elizabeth Pharo has brought a new, creative business mindset to Momentum’s Board of Directors since her recent appointment as Chair.

Elizabeth was elected to fill the position on the board that was formerly held by her father, William Featheringill, who recently passed away.

Momentum’s executives, including President and CEO Alan Creighton, are pleased that Elizabeth accepted William’s former position and are excited for the fresh perspective that she brings to the table.

“Elizabeth has shown continued faith and enthusiasm for our work and goals here at Momentum, and brings a valuable set of unique strengths to the company,” said Alan Creighton, Momentum’s President and CEO.

As a Computer Science graduate and current chair and executive stakeholder for interoperability for SuccessEHS, a health IT vendor that specializes in practice management and EHR software solutions, Elizabeth has a keen understanding and extensive experience in the areas of information technology, software implementation, scaling operations, interoperability and customer support.

This knowledge has been helpful in familiarizing herself with Momentum’s network infrastructure and solutions, she says.

Elizabeth began building a relationship with Momentum in 2011 when the company established a joint venture with SuccessEHS to integrate Virtual Fax and click-to-dial with its electronic health records systems.

Today, she is proud to lead both SuccessEHS and Momentum, and hopes to play a key role in Momentum’s merger and acquisition strategy, an area her father had seen as a good opportunity for Momentum to leverage its automated migration tools and unparalleled conversion capabilities.

Elizabeth’s appointment to Momentum’s Board of Directors further strengthens the set of leaders that includes executives with experience from other major corporations in the Birmingham community including Jemison Investments, Bank of Alabama, Complete Health and MACESS.

Elizabeth explains that she believes Momentum’s product line that includes collaboration tools such as web conferencing, video conferencing and unified communications supports the green lifestyle and forward-thinking business model that so many of today’s key players are after.

“Momentum’s services offer the latest and greatest in hosted communications backed by huge savings, excellent support and a reliable network,” said Elizabeth. “It is a solution that I am proud to advocate in the community.”

In Elizabeth’s free time, she enjoys running, traveling with her husband and playing with her kids.
